I made some changes to the info on our main page.  Basically announcing the Oct 13th LAN and a wrap up of the Feb 24th LAN.  October is a long way off and we will probably get cracking on the registration and details sometime in late July.  I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to see more action on our new CSSource server.

You can always open up registration early on lanaddict.

Yes, we are changing the registration process and that will be our first priority.  Until we get the details of it worked out we will not be able to open it up.  As I look back at the Feb. LAN (and the surveys) I feel like it was successful in every aspect except for a couple of things.  Having 140 registered and only 97 showing up was and is a disappointment.  We are going to fix it.  Also, making the server rotation more gamer friendly is where we have some tinkering to do.  We already have multiple ideas to solve the issue and will be using those ideas in October.

happy fragging...

One thing you might do is set a specific number of games for lan play say 5.  That way you are not switching back and forth with servers and games.

I would say something like:

CS:Source - team based fps
BF2 - large squad objective/ team based fps with vehicles
Fear or America's Army - could be dm or team based, fear and AA is nice since they are free
Quake 3/ 4 - whichever is more suggested. it seemed Q3 was very popular last lan, might stick with it (even though i like Q4 better)
New Game - maybe here you throw in a new game like quake wars, or team fortress 2, etc...

I think you guys do a great job always, but this might make it simplier if you specify specific games.
